New Shepard launched a new capsule outfitted with upgrades for the astronaut experience including upgrades to acoustics and temperature regulation inside the capsule and speakers with a microphone and push-to-talk button at each seat. Astronaut communications and safety alert systems will also be tested on this flight. The capsule is outfitted with 6 seats, one fitted with a flight dummy named Mannequin Skywalker.
